With over 15 years of experience in the field, our team has worked extensively in archaeological survey, excavation, and research, focusing on preserving the rich history of Wyoming and its surrounding areas.
Our work is centered around supporting tribal nations and other stakeholders, ensuring that the integrity of cultural heritage sites is respected and safeguarded. We are dedicated to helping communities preserve their ancestral history through comprehensive documentation, detailed report writing, and culturally sensitive approaches.

Who we are
Founder & Lead Archaeologist
Crystal Reynolds is a seasoned archaeologist with over 15 years of experience in the field, specializing in a wide range of archaeological methods and research techniques. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology with a Minor in Geology from the University of Wyoming. Crystal’s expertise includes pedestrian surveys, excavation, shovel testing, landscape archaeology, soil sampling, petroglyph documentation, plant documentation, and site recordation using both traditional and GPS-based methods.
Having worked on numerous projects across the United States, Crystal has a diverse portfolio that spans Wyoming, Montana, Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, Louisiana, Vermont, New Hampshire, Texas, and South Dakota. She has played a key role in coordinating cultural resource inventories, including leading field surveys and writing comprehensive Class III reports, often in collaboration with various tribes.
In addition to her extensive work across the U.S., Crystal’s passion for archaeology has taken her abroad. As a solo traveler, she has visited and explored several notable archaeological sites across Europe and South America. These experiences have deepened her understanding of global archaeological practices, enriched her appreciation for diverse cultural histories, and inspired her to bring a broader, international perspective to her work.
Crystal also served as the Tribal Archaeologist for the Northern Arapaho Tribe, where she gained invaluable insight into the intersection of archaeology and tribal heritage preservation. In addition to her fieldwork, Crystal is an Adjunct Instructor with Central Wyoming College, where she shares her knowledge and passion for archaeology with the next generation of researchers.
With a focus on responsible cultural resource management and a deep commitment to preserving the past, Crystal continues to advance archaeological understanding through a combination of scientific expertise and cultural sensitivity. Her work is recognized for bridging the gap between rigorous research and community engagement, making a significant impact within the field.
Who we are
Yufna Soldier Wolf is a citizen of the Northern Arapaho Tribe. A graduate from Montana State University Billings-Public Relations and Native American Studies, University of Wyoming-Environmental and Natural Resources, Anthropology with an emphasis in Forensics, and Indigenous Studies. She recently finished her law degree from Norman,Oklahoma- Indigenous Law Program 2022. Yufna started her career being a tribal archaeological technician for the Northern Arapaho Cultural Resource Office which later became the Northern Arapaho Tribal Historic Preservation Office (THPO). Yufna is the former THPO Tribal Archaeologist, Director, and NAGPRA Coordinator for the Northern Arapaho Tribe. Mrs. Soldier Wolf repatriated/rematriated ancestors and items from federal agencies and was the first to get their children from Carlisle Indian Industrial School. Mrs. Soldier Wolf's passion is learning and teaching Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK). She has worked in the Non-profit conservation sector, Private/Federal sectors for consulting reports for National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA), Section 106. Mrs. Soldier Wolf is a member of the Department of Interiors(DOI) Resource Advisory Council for Wyoming. Her dedication in protecting/preserving land and ancestors has become a lifelong passion. Mrs. Soldier Wolf’s dedication and passion is being a tribal advocate for ancestors and the land; besides academics always remember we are spiritually connected to the land and ancestors, we must honor that way of life.
